  • Production of the necessary trust documents, tailored to your needs, in draft form for approval by your company's legal advisers and the Revenue Commissioners. 

  • Preparation of explanatory member booklets tailored to your company's plan. The booklets comply with the requirements of the Revenue and Pensions Act.

  • Compliance under tax and pensions legislation (the Taxes Consolidation Act, 1997 and the Pensions Act, 1990).

  • On-going legal consultancy for plan design, insurance policy terms, technical/legal issues and trusteeship matters.

  • Corporate reorganisations and acquisitions – we provide essential advice and services to cover the repercussions of a merger or acquisition on employee benefit arrangements.

Why us?
An experienced and highly qualified team consisting of three lawyers and legal support.  The Legal and Documentation department is headed up by Kevin Finucane, who specialises in pensions law. Kevin previously worked in private practice as a solicitor in one of the major law firms. He is co-author of the book “Irish Pensions Law and Practice”, which is the definitive legal text in this complex area. Kevin also is a board member of the Pensions Board.
