Actuarial and Funding Advice

We believe that there is more to financial management than just meeting the minimum legal requirements which cover valuations for trustees and accounting numbers for company accounts. To really be in control of their pensions agenda, trustees and plan sponsors need to have access both to independent advice in setting dynamic management objectives and to up-to-date information on the progress of their plans.

How we can help - Trustees:
We will provide a full range of actuarial services including regular actuarial valuations, annual solvency checks and funding proposals, where required. We will also ensure that important financial milestones which have the potential to trigger additional funding demands are addressed on a timely basis.  Our independent and focused advice will help trustees make decisions in this complex area. As the financial position of a plan changes so too do the options for managing risk.

How we can help - Employers:
We will provide expert advice to employers in relation to accounting for pension liabilities under FRS, IAS and US GAAP accounting standards. Our service proposition will help avoid surprises for employers and improve their budgeting process by modelling the accounting position of their plan throughout the financial year.

Why us?
Our actuarial services also include advising companies on critical pension aspects in merger and acquisition situations, management of pensions aspects of redundancy and early retirement programmes, and provision of individual calculations and costings.

The actuarial team includes 10 qualified actuaries and a large support team of actuarial analysts who have a proven track record of providing actuarial services to a wide range of public and private sector clients.
